What we do.

The Spilt Milk Design Program is a rich, play-based learning experience that nurtures early childhood development through the lens of art, design and technology. Rooted in age-appropriate S.T.E.A.M. education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics), the program supports a wide range of essential skills that help children thrive - now and into the future.

Through hands-on art and design sessions tailored for kindergarten-aged children, the program blends creativity, curiosity, and early S.T.E.A.M. concepts in a joyful and inspiring environment. Each class encourages imaginative thinking, problem-solving, and mindful making - while supporting fine motor development, emotional regulation, collaboration and more. Lesson plans are designed with the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF V2.0) front of mind.

At the end of each term, children receive a special certificate with constructive, individualised feedback and a small bag of goodies to continue their creative journey at home.

Spilt Milk is more than just an art program—it’s a space for children to explore, create, imagine, and grow. Designed to nurture both hearts and minds, it’s about sparking a lifelong love of learning through the joy of making.
